Kebbi APC sets to reconcile aggrieved members
Chairman, Board of Trustees (BoT) of All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Sani Zauro has called on the Kebbi State party chairman and other stakeholders to set up a reconciliation committee to reunite all aggrieved members seeking elective positions in the state.
He made this appeal yesterday, while addressing newsmen in his country home, Zauro, adding that the only remedy to rescue the party is to ensure peace and harmony.
Zauro, who further stated that himself and Sani Dododo built APC in the state through the support of former Sokoto State Governor, Aliyu Magattaga Wamako, said he would not allow anybody to hijack the party.
“We don’t have any candidate for governorship position than Governor Atiku Abubakar Bagudu. For the President, its Muhammadu Buhari, while the Kebbi North Senatorial seat goes to Suleiman Arugungu. This has been our arrangement for a very long time, we are not going to reverse it,” he added.
