Kaduna relaxes 24-hour curfew on Kajuru, urges residents to be law-abiding
The Kaduna State Government has relaxed the 24-hour curfew in Kajuru Council after the recent crisis that resulted in several casualties.
Besides, the curfew hours, with effect from yesterday, is now between 7pm and 6am, just as the government urged residents in the area to be law-abiding.
A government statement signed by Governor Nasir el-Rufai’s spokesman, Samuel Aruwan, said the decision to relax the curfew follows a the state security council’s review of the security situation in the council and appealed to all residents and communities to do their utmost to uphold peace and harmony.
