JAMB releases UTME results of one million candidates

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results of over one million candidates that sat for the test on Tuesday.

Its Head of Media and Information, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, told The Guardian, that candidates could check their scores 24 hours after the exercise.
This year’s examination attracted 1.9 million applicants, the highest in JAMB’s 41-year history.Benjamin urged those who took the 17 test to check their scores by sending ‘RESULT’ to 55019 via their dedicated lines.
