In commemoration of the International Women’s Day, Boundless Hands Africa (BHA) has called for greater inclusion of women in leadership roles at all level of governance.

In commemoration of the International Women’s Day, Boundless Hands Africa (BHA) has called for greater inclusion of women in leadership roles at all level of governance.

The event themed, ‘Balance for Better: Think Equal, Build Smart, Innovate for Change’, urged women to be intentional and focused on their vision and embrace mentorship.

Speaking, the Chairman Board of Fellows, Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), Mbang N. Femi-Oyewo, urged women to take up more leadership roles noting an improvement in women participation and a need to do more.

Also, Senior Program Officer, Arda Development Communication, Jite Phido, expressed excitement in the partnership with BHA and IHS to bring women leaders of different fields together to have mentorship, training and capacity building opportunities. She noted that the conference aims to promote the next generation of women leaders from different fields by learning from the experience of others and would also drive implementation, as the women were empowered with digital marketing skills to set up their personal and business profiles.

In her remark, Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Police Command, Dolapo Badmus, called on women to resist domestic and sexual violence saying it is against the law of nature and humanity; stressing that the police is doing all they can to ensure domestic and sexual violence comes to an end.
