The 2017 edition of the annual event of Isoko Praise Foundation was held at the weekend amidst jubilation, excitement and thanksgiving to God almighty in appreciation for His blessings, protection and abundant grace for the Isoko people.

The event was held in conjunction with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Isoko Christian Association of Nigeria (ICAN) and Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), at the Isoko Central School (ICS) Oleh in Isoko South Local Council of Delta State.

Top gospel artistes from Isoko and other parts of the country trilled the crowed with praise and worship songs.

This year’s theme: Make A Joyful Noise Unto God All Ye Land, was anchored by Isoko Praise Foundation team through its Chairman Evangelist Emmanuel Ofano.

Declaring the 2017 edition open, Archbishop Christian A. O Apena, restated the objective of the event to include the unity of Isoko people, prosperity of the land, peace, salvation of souls and healing of the sick.

He charged Isoko people to henceforth use the event as Praise Festival, which will hold on the third Friday of November each year with diary of events.

He stated that every denomination should involve their members in the annual programme, noting that food should be part of the celebration.
