IPAC Affirms Bashir Ibrahim As Chairman

THE Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), the umbrella body organisation of Nigeria’s political parties has affirmed that the election that brought in Mallam Bashir Yusuf Ibrahim of the Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM) was free, fair and credible.

Speaking at the IPAC bye-elections into the post of National Secretary and Deputy National Secretary in Abuja, Publicity Secretary, Chief Ogbuehi Dike said the IPAC General Assembly constituted the IPAC Election Committee on the 23 June 2015 which was made up of representatives of Nigeria’s 29 political parties, adding that INEC supervised the elections according to the IPAC Code of Conduct 2013.

The bye-election brought in Chief Sam Eke and Abdulmalik Isa Abullahi as the National Secretary and Deputy National Secretary respectively.
