Nigeria and the United States have held talks on infrastructure financing at the summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

President Muhammadu Buhari, who yesterday met with the U.S Treasury Secretary, Steven Mnuchin in the Asian nation, confirmed that they had discussions on investments in Nigeria under the new United States International Development Finance Corporation (USIDFC), which provides $60 billion for investments in developing nations.

Speaking on the sidelines of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) conference, Buhari said Nigeria would leverage on the U.S facility to address the current challenges confronting its power sector as well as effect general upgrade of infrastructure.
