To mark an end to the Yuletide funfair season and begin the real business of the New Year, the Ikoyi Club 1938 has switched off its Christmas Lights.Vice Chairman of the club, Mr. Olusola Adeosun, who performed the mark in the presence of the club executives and members thanked God for the gift of life to see a new year.

While addressing members on the achievements of the club in 2016, he urged them to be more diligent in 2017 as the year holds many promises for the club.Also, the club chairman, Major Gen. Mufutau Balogun (Rtd.), enjoined members not to relent in their good deeds as they continue to uphold the tenets of the club.

He, however, expressed optimism that there is hope for Nigeria in 2017 despite the economic hardship in the country.Members were thereafter treated to light refreshments and full enjoyment.
