Ihedioha Vs Okorocha: Imo police pledges neutrality
Imo State Commissioner of Police (CP), Rabiu Ladodo has denied playing partial roles in the face-off between the immediate past governor of the state, Rochas Okorocha and the incumbent, Emeka Ihedioha.
It will be recalled that a committee constituted by the governor to recover all looted government moveable assets had stormed House of Freeda, a retail outlet belonging to Okorocha’s daughter, Mrs. Uloma Rochas-Nwosu and seized properties perceived to belong to the state government or purchased with looted state funds.
In a statement signed by the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Orlando Gidson Ikeokwu, the CP denied allegations of taking side, insisting the police is neutral.
