THE Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has introduced a Computer-Based Test (CBT) to its workers to ensure that it checks sharp practices during staff promotion examinations.

While leading stakeholders on facility tour at the ICPC Training Academy in Nasarawa, Chairman of the Commission, Mr. Ekpo Nta, said the computer-based test is to move a step ahead of the manual processes they inherited when they came on board, adding that the rigorous steps in marking the scripts of candidates made them to introduce this new innovation of using computer in their promotion exams.

According to him, the CBT would ensure effective monitoring whereby results are released within two minutes, adding that the Commission would ensure that where they (staff) need to do better, specialized training would be provided.

Nta noted that the centre was adjudged the best in the country during the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination conducted this year.
