Ibrahim Magu wins man of valour award

The Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ibrahim Magu, has won a man of valour award.

The Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ibrahim Magu, has won a man of valour award.

The award, which was bestowed on him by the Global Peace Movement Initiative International (GPMII), was “in recognition of his dedication, commitment and doggedness in the fight against corruption.”

The President of the GPMII, Dr. Mike Uyi presented the award to Magu at the EFCC Headquarters in Abuja.

According to him: “Magu has done excellently well and has changed the world’s perception about Nigeria as a very corrupt nation.”

Uyi described Magu as a man who has the heart to face all kinds of storm, adding that the award is the “zenith of all its awards.”

Magu said: “The fight against corruption is for the future generation. I will continue to fight corruption until my last second in office and I promise all Nigerians that I will never disappoint them. We have the right leadership and I am very much motivated to make it a total war.”
