IBB returns, urges prayers for Buhari’s administration
Contrary to rumours of his death, former military president, Gen. Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (IBB) yesterday evening arrived Minna, the Niger State capital from Germany, where he went to seek treatment for what he called a “structural problem.”
Babangida arrived the Minna Airport around 3:30pm aboard a charted flight, No. N5500DR.
He was received by former governor of the state, Abdulkadir A. Kure; former permanent secretary, Adamu Idris Kuta; his entire family members led by his eldest son, Mohammed; Kure’s former Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Mahmud Abdullahi; former commissioner for Transport and Babangida’s cousin, Dettijo Aliyu; and a host of other well washers.
Babangida, who was looking healthy and fit, was dressed in black kaftan and cap to match.
The former military ruler, who was full of smiles, thanked God that he is back to Nigeria. He also thanked Nigerians for their concern, which led to the rumour of his death, saying: “It is a structural problem and it has been addressed.”
He, however, urged Nigerians to use the Ramadan period to pray for Nigeria at this trying time, adding: “What the country needs at this trying time is prayers and total support for the present administration at all levels.”
Babangida urged Nigerians to continue to be patient with the present administration, pointing out that the situation would surely change for the better.

concern?…..really? please who are these concerned Nigerians that he is thanking? I would love to say more but then i think it would be a waste because IBB where you are going to is nearer now from whence you came from.
Prayers don’t fix economic problems.
We will review and take appropriate action.
