Group urges El-Rufai’s to caution aide
A group, Southern Kaduna Professionals, has cautioned Governor Nasir El-Rufai on the activities of his adviser, Mallam Uba Sani.
In a statement, yesterday, in Kaduna, the group said unless the governor tames Sani, his actions could endanger the peace and tranquility of the state ahead the 2019 general elections.
The spokesman of the group, Bulus Hashim, said: “We observed with concern the activities of the Special Adviser on Political Matters to governor Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai, Uba Sani, who has constituted himself into a political nuisance and threat to the peace and tranquility of Kaduna State.
“We, the Southern Kaduna Professionals, wish to draw the attention of the general public, the security agencies and some of the people in Kaduna State.
He has the right to contest for any political office in the state, if he is a bonafide indigene of Kaduna State.
However, he has no right whatsoever to turn himself into a menace, using state funds and apparatus to intimidate and harass law-abiding citizens.
