THE Foundation for African Culture Heritage (FACH) has called for the implementation of laws on violence against women and children, saying practices that impinge on their rights and wellbeing are gradually taking new tunes in the society.

In a three-day international conference held at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA) with the theme “Global Approaches to violence against women and children; identifying the triggers, remedies and policy frameworks,” representative of the Lagos State government, Mrs. Yetunde Onabule, noted that the government is out to ensure that the menace is effectively managed in line with the state domestic violence law 2007.
