WORRIED by the high level of indiscipline in the country, a pro- Buhari group, Change Ambassadors of Nigeria, has called on the President-elect, Maj-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari to urgently re-introduce the War Against indiscipline (WAI) as soon as he is sworn in on May 29, 2015.

The group added that corruption can only be eliminated from the society if discipline is introduced and enforced in the system.
As military Head of State, Buhari introduced the WAI where discipline and orderliness became the order of the day.

Officials of WAI were put in strategic places like the bus stops, markets and other public places for enforcement.

The group’s Director-General, Mr. Blessing Agbomeri told reporters yesterday in Abuja that once discipline is maintained in the society, the impunities of some wicked leaders would be reduced.

He added:’’If you go to government circles, you find out that people do things without fear of intimidation from any where, the situation in the private sector is more worrisome; those in government positions today are collaborating with the private sector to defraud the government on a daily basis , and this must stop.’’

Agbomeri stated that his group was also urging Buhari to sanitize the judiciary and rebuild the nation’s prisons so that corruption cases would be dealt with accordingly.

‘’Our advice to Buhari is to go ahead and build more prisons and renovate existing ones to be able to accommodate Nigerians that would be found guilty by the law courts for various corruption cases.

On the group’s support for Senator George Akume for the Senate President’s slot, Agbomeri stated, “Akume has the charisma to manage the senate that will give the needed legislative backing to every war against stealing of public funds, he thinks of Nigeria first, even senators from the PDP and APC, l am sure, will vote for him, we are talking of a change, a change has happened at the Presidency, it needs to be reflected in the senate so that the executive and the legislative arms could work together in harmony to make Nigeria a better place for all of us.’’

The need for a lasting war on indiscipline cannot be overemphasized in Nigeria. From now there must be consequences for behaviours, otherwise we do not need any war, and we do. This will be the way forward for our dear nation. Let every Nigerian join the vanguard against indiscipline and corruption and keep Nigeria on the move.
