The Children and Youth Awareness Development (CYAD) has said for the country to overcome its leadership crisis, children must be educated on open and transparent electoral process.
Its founder, Mrs. Temilola Odetola, spoke during an event organised for pupils of Nigerian Army Officers Wives Association (NAOWA) Nursery and Primary school, Kurudu, Abuja at the weekend.
She noted that the Children and Youth Democratic Electoral Model (CYDEM) was designed to mentor Nigerian children on leadership for the task ahead.
According to her, politics is not a do or die matter, adding that parents should rather encourage their wards to focus on education.
