Group engages experts for Kogi development
Trans Atlantic Consult (TAC) will on Saturday, March 27, 2021, assemble leaders and volunteers in the not-for-profit sector from Kogi State and beyond to discuss social and economic issues affecting the sector.
The research, recreation and community development platform will bring together 50 civil society leaders and other stakeholders in the sector to chat accelerated development of Kogi Central.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer of TAC, who initiated the interface, Mohammed Attah, said the initiative was borne out of the need to engage intellectuals within the sector and zone to share ideas, network and create the space for accelerated development of Kogi Central in particular and Nigeria at large, in the emerging world of technology.
Tagged ‘Intellectual Leadership Platform’, the initiative is in collaboration with World Association of Non-Governmental Organisations (WANGO), Institute for Governance and Leadership Studies in Africa (IGLSA) and Ebira Unity Television.
It will focus on Repositioning Leadership for Sustainable Economic Growth.
Already confirmed as speakers are Mrs. Lami Ahmed, a seasoned administrator, entrepreneur and international mentor; Dr. Uche Igwe, Visiting Fellow, London School of Economic and Political Science; and Ms. Hannah Alexander, Secretary-General of WANGO based in New York, USA. Other speakers and discussants are to be confirmed before the date.
