Govt. must pay more attention to constructions, says Ajani
The Managing Director of Janbuz Engineering and Construction, Oluwatoyin Ajani , has insisted that the agencies responsible for monitoring of constructions should take the blame for any building collapse.
Speaking with The Guardian, Ajani said the government must always keep in touch with ongoing constructions, adding that several factors including soil failure might lead to a building collapse.
According to him, there should be basic requirements before a building is approved and the government should be prompt about it. “People avoid some of these government’s policies because of the stress that comes with it.”
