Govt appoints Arhagba as PTI’s vice principal
The Federal Government has appointed Mrs Emily E. Arhagba, as Vice Principal of the Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun.
The appointment, which took effect from April 1, 2016, is for a term of two years, or until her retirement on October 13, 2017, which comes first.
Arhagba who was until her appointment the Director of Science (DOS) would function as the Director of Science and Vice Principal in-charge of the PTI, pending the appointment of a substantive Principal/Chief Executive.
Also, her appointment was sequel to the retirement of the Acting Principal/Chief Executive, Mr Avuakporeta J. Orukele on the attainment of the mandatory 60 years of age on April 1, 2016.
Arhagba has a Master’s degree in Communication and Language Arts and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) English Language from the famous University of Ibadan and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria respectively.
