Methodists Archbishop of Enugu, Christopher Ede, yesterday asked the Federal Government to drive the change agenda of government, with some measures of flexibility, to enable Nigerians live to enjoy the dividends when they fully mature.

The bishop made the demand at his golden jubilee celebration and thanksgiving service held at the Wesley Cathedral.

According to him, there was too much hardship in the land, as people were no longer comfortable with the situation of things.

Ede, who expressed hope for “a greater future for the country,” asked government to drive the change agenda with a human face, so as to reduce the sufferings of the people.”

He tasked the people to live a life of thanksgiving, as God is in the business of making things better, especially at a time like this when everything appears to be grinding to a halt. He assured that God is in control of this nation, and we must trust him now and hope for a greater future.
