Ghana pledges support for ECOWAS’ programmes
President Nana Akufo-Addo has pledged his country’s continued support for the Economic Community of West African West African States (ECOWAS) programmes that have direct bearing on the people of the sub-region.
He gave the assurance when he received the ECOWAS Parliament Joint Committee on Trade, Finance, Customs and Free Movement of Goods and Persons in Accra.The team was in the country to examine ways of improving the public, private partnership (PPP) module for infrastructural development of West Africa.
He said as a longstanding supporter of Africa’s unity and development, Ghana would continually align itself with the parliaments’ efforts at sensitising the people on its protocols and programmes.
