Emanuella was excited to have FreshYo back and confirmed that it tastes as good as ever. The yoghurt drink will be available in two flavours – plain sweet and strawberry.

Category Head (Beverages, Noodles & Culinary) at Olam International’s Joint Venture with Sanyo Foods, Mr. Sidhartha Samal, said: “FreshYo’s thick and refreshingly creamier texture not only tastes great, but also provides with wholesome energy because it has calcium, protein, vitamins. With its innovative packaging design and a new outstanding formula, FreshYo remains a leading yoghurt brand that has won over children and adults. We are glad that our #MyFreshYoMoments campaign and videos featuring Emanuella and Mark Angel have touched the hearts of so many consumers.”

Samal said children and adults alike have missed FreshYo yoghurt’s presence after production ceased temporarily while a new state-of-the-art facility was being constructed in Lagos.

Frumil, a fruit milk drink in the company’s dairy beverages portfolio, was also launched during the event. It will be available in two flavours – apple and orange.

Vice President of the firm, Mr. Ramesh Sinha, explained the innovative sales and distribution strategy for the product and how it would reach consumers in a unique way. Marketing Manager, Mrs. Bola Adeniji, shared the 360-degree marketing plan for FreshYo to drive awareness and consumer engagement of the brand.

Emanuella and Mark Angel Comedy team graced the occasion with their entertaining and engaging performance at the FreshYo relaunch. In the evening, renowned Chef and Food Stylist Mrs. Iyabo Lawani created five exciting recipes made specially for the event and guests were served FreshYo smoothies.

Samala said that both FreshYo and Frumil would be manufactured in the company’s new facility at Lagos, which is the first factory in Africa to use aseptic technology for the production of dairy beverages.
