Forum urges Lalong to conduct polls in four councils

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairmanship/Councillorship Candidates Forum of Jos North, Jos South, Barkin Ladi and Riyom councils of Plateau State has cried out to Governor Simon Lalong to consider conducting credible elections into the remaining four councils that were left out on October 10, 2018.

Chairman of the Forum, Aminu Zang, who addressed the press at the weekend, also called all the legislators from Plateau to join in the quest to ensure that the tenets of democracy were upheld.

He described the setting up of interim management committees to manage the councils as an aberration, which should not have any place in a democratic dispensation.
