Former minister scolds INEC over postponement
A former Minister of Health and member, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees, Prof A.B.C Nwosu has expressed surprise at the postponement of the elections.
Nwosu, completely bewildered and upset, chided the Commission’s Chairman for postponing the election without minding the expenses and inconveniences to voters.
He said: “There are too many questions, especially after Mr. President made his broadcast two days to the election. Why didn’t they postpone it earlier, when these were clear to them?”
He urged the electorate to ignore the shenanigans of government and INEC in this traumatic postponement and come out on the new dates to cast their votes and express their desire for good governance.
“It is only by so doing that they can end the impunity and enthrone good governance in Nigeria,” he said.
