Firm thrills consumers at Osun Osogbo Festival

This year’s edition of the Osun Osogbo Festival took an exciting element when Regal Dry Gin, a premium gin brand of Grand Oak Limited thrilled its fans and consumers with ‘REGAL COMUDA’ show.

The show, a combination of comedy, music and dance was used as a platform by the brand to give opportunities to its loyal consumers to showcase their talents and win prizes at the Ataoja’s palace in Osogbo.

Brand Manager, Regal Dry Gin, Mr. Babatunde Niyi, said the show was part of activities to mark this year’s historic celebration of Osun-Osogbo Festival.

“Following the recent re-launch of Regal Dry Gin and in line with our new thematic campaign of ‘Turn up and shine’ we decided to rejoice with the people of Osogbo on the occasion of Osun Osogbo Festival, which is another symbolic year for the citizens of the town and environs.

“The major thrust of COMUDA is comedy infused with music and dance, which featured popular Yoruba comedian, Mr. Olatayo Amokade (a.k.a, Baba Ijebu) dishing out a rib cracking and fun-thrilling performance. We will take the show to other cities,” he said.

Mr. Olaoye Olakunle (a.k.a, Mc Manganese), who emerged as winner of the comedy competition, described his victory as a surprise. “I never thought of coming to perform here today but the persuasion and faith my friend had in me propelled me to victory. I am going home with a flat screen television and branded materials that I won in the competition.”
