THE Federal House of Representatives member representing Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency under the aegis of All Progressives Congress (APC), Baderinwa Bamidele, has declared that qualitative empowerment of the masses is far better than indulgences given to the people for gratification purposes.

Baderinwa said this at the weekend during the empowerment programme organized for the people of his constituency: Idanre and Ifedore Local Councils at Igbara Oke, headquarters of Ifedore Local Council of Ondo State, to mark his 100 days in office.

According to him: “It is my covenant to ably represent and do resoundingly well for my constituents through the intervention /constituency projects’ platform provided us by the National Assembly as representatives of the people, who knows the spots where shoes pinch the masses.”

His words: “I will use every medium available to me as a Federal lawmaker to bring dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of my people. In the next couple of years, issues of youth unemployment /empowerment and qualitative education of our pupils will be given priority in order to secure their future,” he declared.

While recounting his achievements in the last 100 days, he listed the extension of rural electrification project Aba-Aro community in Isarun/Erigi Ward of Ifedore Local Council, provision of mechanized borehole for the CAC Grammar School, Odode-Idanre in Idanre Local Council, grading and maintenance of roads leading to Ero Community, just to mention a few.

The lawmaker presented two Hilux Pick-up vans to the Divisional Police Headquarters of his constituency, cocoa treatment chemicals: herbicides, pesticides and spraying pumps for 200 farmers and 30 units of wheel-chairs for physically challenged people.

The projects were commissioned and presented to beneficiaries by the Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, who was ably represented by Sadiq Ibrahim, another Federal lawmaker representing Fufore/Song under APC.

In the company of other APC lawmakers: Kolawole Babatunde and Akintayo Gafaru representing Akoko South West/ East and Ayedire/Iwo/Ola-oluwa Federal Constituencies in Ondo and Osun states respectively, Baderinwa assured the people of more dividends of democracy to be delivered to them.
