Former Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Abdullahi Bello, has described the second committee set up by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to reconcile the warring factions of the party in Kogi State as a waste of the party’s resources and efforts.

Bello said it smacks of lack of transparency and sincerity on the part of APC leadership, which he said knows the root cause of the crises to be beating about the bush.

APC national chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, had last week inaugurated a top-level seven-member reconciliation committee to look into the crisis in Kogi State chapter, which came shortly after a similar committee headed by Chief Tony Momoh completed its findings and the report yet to be acted upon.

He said: “Who does not know the solution to the crises in Kogi? Is it the national secretariat that is not aware that we worked and some other persons are reaping from where we laboured, what is the committee coming to say now? That we are guilty for working for APC?”
