National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Uche Secondus reassured, yesterday, that the era of impunity and imposition of candidates was over in the party, stressing that the PDP was fully rebranded to serve Nigerians best interest.

He, therefore, called on Nigerians to continue to support the party in its quest to wrest power from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2019 and return the country to the path of progress, development and good governance.

Secondus spoke at Udi, Enugu State, during the party’s Enugu West peace rally. At the event, which attracted thousands of party members, led by the state governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Deputy

President of Senate, Ike Ekweremadu, Business Mogul and Chief Arthur Eze, among others, the National Chairman said vibrancy and peace had returned to the party, after the successful National Convention, assuring that with the new zeal, Nigerians stand to benefit from the party.

Represented by his Deputy, Garba Babayo, Secondus urged party members to continue to preach peace and maintain ethos that could be emulated by all for the country’s development.
