Envoy urges Nigerians to promote peace, love

The Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Nigeria, His Excellency Abdulaziz Albisher, has said that religion should serve as a veritable ground for peace and love.

The Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Nigeria, His Excellency Abdulaziz Albisher, has said that religion should serve as a veritable ground for peace and love.

Alisher, who spoke with reporters yesterday, in Ilorin, in continuation of his welfare programmes for the less privileged in the country, urged Islamic faithful to shun any act of terrorism, saying the religion is synonymous only with peace.

The ambassador in the company of some of the embassy’s staff has supervised and implemented “Eid Al-Adha Project” bankrolled by Zakat House of Kuwait

(the Year 2019) in 14 states, including Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

The envoy in collaboration with Darul – Kitab Wal Sunnah Society, distributed food items and beddings to some orphans and needy persons who are the index for the event.

According to Albisher, over 2000 families have benefitted from the project across the states, especially in Katsina State.
