Enugu community to ungo free hypertension screening
ITUKU Community of Enugu State, South East Nigeria, will on Monday, June 8, 2015 undergo screening for hypertension, also known as High Blood Pressure, to prevent heart problems and stroke among other diseases at the Central School, Ituku.
The event is put together by Prof. Basden J.C. Onwubere (FITGAH Ambassador), a renowned Cardiologist at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH) Enugu, Neimeth, Nigerian Heart Foundation and Carlisle Healthcare Limited – BP Monitoring Equipment manufacturers. The traditional ruler, Igwe Cletus Iloabuchi Owoh, will grace the occasion.
Other distinguished professionalsto attend are Prof. Ifeoma Ulasi, Consultant Nephrologist and (FITGAH Ambassador); Prof. Christian Okonkwo, Obiorah Okonkwo, Prince George Okafor, Chief Silas Okafor – Onowu of Ituku.
