A 115-year-old woman, Mrs Falilat Omisore, in spite of her old age, has exercised her civil right by casting her vote in the on-going Presidential and National Assembly elections.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the old woman cast her vote at Iremo Ward 11, unit 002 in Ile-Ife at exactly 12 noon on Saturday.

While speaking with NAN shortly after, she said that the only power she had to show her patriotism was to vote.

Omisore said she believed that the only way to make Nigeria metamorphose into an ideal society was to vote for the right candidates.

She, however, urged well-meaning Nigerians to shun all form of violence and vote for the right candidates.
