Ekiti directs schools to complete JSS2, SS3 syllabus in second term
EKITI State Government has directed schools in the state to complete the syllabus for their JSS3 and SS3 classes by the end of the second term.
The state Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Jide Egunjobi who made this known in Ado Ekiti during a meeting with
Education Secretaries, Area Education Officers as well as the Association of Headmasters of Primary Schools of Nigeria (AOPHSON),
chairmen in the 16 local government councils in the state and their executives, explained that the move was to leave the third term open for revision.
The commissioner also directed the schools to immediately commence extra-lesson classes in English Language and Mathematics for JSS3 as
well as SS2 and SS3, adding that the lessons should commence at 7a.m. from Monday to Friday.
