EEDC, NUEE, SSAEAC sign procedural agreement

The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) has assured the National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE) and Senior Staff Association of Electricity and Allied Companies (SSAEAC) of compliance with the procedural agreement they signed.

The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) has assured the National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE) and Senior Staff Association of Electricity and Allied Companies (SSAEAC) of compliance with the procedural agreement they signed.

EEDC’s Head of Human Resources & Administration, Dr. Emmanuel Nwokolo, gave the assurance during the signing ceremony of the procedural agreement at the company’s Headquarters in Enugu.

Nwokolo said the journey started four years ago and that the management was happy that the disagreements it had with the unions had ended peacefully and successfully.

Speaking, General Secretary of NUEE, Joe Ajaero, stressed that in unionism and the fight for industrial harmony, there was no permanent friend or enemy, but only of industrial harmony and mutual interest.
