Edo State government has urged corps members posted to the state to avoid unnecessary journey for their own safety during their service year.

The Acting Governor, Philip Shaibu, represented by the Commissioner for Youth and Special Duties, Mika Amanokha, gave the advice yesterday during the closing ceremony of the 2019 Batch ‘A’ National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Orientation Course for corps members at Okada in Ovia North East Local Council of Edo State.

Besides, Shaibu commended the NYSC for introducing and making the skills acquisition programme compulsory for corps members during their service year.
