Edo University, Iyamho

Edo University, Iyamho (EUI), at the weekend, received certificate of recognition from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) for certificate programmes.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Emmanuel Aluyor, who received the honour at the 2019 Award of ICAN Accreditation and Recognition Certificate Ceremony, appreciated the institute for recognising the university.

Presenting the certificate to the VC, president of ICAN, Alhaji Razaq Jaiyeola, congratulated the university for meeting all the requirements to run certificate courses in line with the mandate of the professional body.

He said the programme was designed for accredited tertiary institutions in the country found worthy to run it.

Jaiyeola charged the institution to continue to maintain high standards in its accounting courses for which it was certified.
