Chief Judge wigREPRESENTATIVE of Ohaozara East constituency in the Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Augusta Chika, has promised to support and ensure that private bills are encouraged in the assembly.

Chika also assured of her preparedness to facilitate loans for the youths and women to improve their farming ventures as a way out of poverty. She said: “I will do my best to ensure that our youths and women are encouraged to go into intensive farming and private businesses to enable them contribute to the development of their communities.

“I’m going to support and ensure that private bills that are of great value and can contribute to the progress and success of the society are encouraged in Ebonyi State House of Assembly, especially in this fifth assembly.”

She lamented that the immediate past assembly was characterised by violence and crisis, which led to the burning down of the assembly complex, stating that she would work to enthrone peace and brotherly relationship among members to enable them promote the state.
