Speaker of House of Representatives, Mr Yakubu Dogara, has expressed shock over the untimely death of Mr Otei Oham, a correspondent of The Guardian, covering the House.

In a statement on Saturday by Mr Turaki Hassan, his Special Adviser, Media and Public Affairs, Dogara described the late Oham as a professional, who would be deeply missed.

He said that Oham, though soft-spoken and friendly, did not compromise when it came to objectivity in his reports of National Assembly activities.

Dogara expressed condolences to the deceased’s family, The Guardian Newspaper and the House of Representatives Press Corps.
