Dickson reinstates appointees who lost primaries
Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson has reinstated all political appointees, who resigned to contest Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primaries, but lost. He also reinstated all civil servants who resigned to contest in the primaries.
Special Adviser on Media Relations to the Governor, Mr. Fidelis Soriwei, said Dickson stated this during a meeting with aspirants.
The governor also directed payment of salaries and allowances the aspirants lost during the period, while reinstated civil servants would receive salaries from resumption date.
He said he was happy with the aspirants’ decision to remain in the party.
He told the state party Chairman, Mr. Moses Cleopas to involve all the aspirants in electoral campaigns.
