Dana Air denies plane crash allegation
Dana Air has denied a report in the online media that one of its aircraft crashed yesterday in Lagos.
Spokesman for the airline, Kingsley Ezenwa, said the pictures used to illustrate the alleged accident were taken from the 2012 crash site.
He stated: “We wish to state unequivocally that the report was entirely false and malicious, as it carried the pictures and video footage of a previous occurrence.
“At Dana, the safety of our passengers and crew is our major priority and we would continue to adhere strictly to all local and international regulations in the delivery of safe, reliable and world-class air transport.
“We also regret any inconveniences that the alleged crash may have caused our passengers and assure them that the matter is being investigated.”
