Cross River State governor, Ben Ayade, has disclosed plans to create the Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foriegn Affairs.
He stated this yesterday during a valedictory session at the Governor’s Office, Calabar, as he dissolved the state executive council.
“This dissolution extends to include all appointees of government and boards, whether temporary or statutory.
“All routine contracts like waste management also have fallen due. We therefore do not have a sitting cabinet,” he added.
Ayade, who expressed regrets disengaging his appointees, disclosed that some of his commissioners would be elevated.
