Bishop of Ife Diocese, Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Reverend Olubunmi Akinlade has called on politicians to be wary of sending signals that next year’s election will be dreadful.

He lamented that the way they desperately seek political office as if it was a do or die affair, does not augur well for the country’s polity.

Akinlade, who stated this while delivering a presidential charge, noted that the attitude of Nigerian politicians was unbecoming of leaders who desire to bring positive chance to the country.
