Frontline industrialist, Dr. Chike Obidigbo, has said that only through unity of purpose and collaboration with the government could Nigerians overcome the myriad of socio-economic challenges currently facing the country.

Obidigbo made the observations in a remark during an inter-denominational open-air intercessory prayer meeting to mark the end of 2015 and usher in the New Year, at Umunya, Oyi local council of Anambra State.

He lamented that the power and creativity of youth are being crippled in the country through neglect stressing that the recent youth uprising in some parts of the country was most unfortunate.

“The unnecessary and avoidable loss of precious lives, represent clear result of leadership insensitivity. We must address the syndrome of exclusivity; in this breath, we are invited to ensure that everyone or segment of our society is given a sense of belonging and accommodation in the scheme of things,” he stated.
