CCT rules on Onnoghen Thursday
The Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), will on Thursday, deliver judgment in the asset declaration charge preferred against the suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen, by the Federal Government.The panel, which made the pronouncement yesterday after entertaining arguments in the case, said it will also rule on two pending applications filed by the embattled jurist.
One of the prayers is challenging the jurisdiction of the tribunal, while the other asks its chairman, Danladi Umar, to disqualify himself from further presiding over the case for alleged bias.
