Buhari visits Borno to commission projects

Arrangements have been concluded for President Muhammadu Buhari’s visit to Borno State during which he will commissions health, education and housing projects.

During today’s state visit, the President will inaugurate 11 projects sited across Maiduguri, the state capital, sources in the presidency disclosed yesterday in Damaturu.

“There will be possibility of road closures, particularly the airport road and other selected roads in the state capital.The source urged the state government and Presidential visit committee to plan accordingly, so as to avoid inconveniences to members of the public.

Some of the projects to be commissioned are, the Njimtilo Industrial Layout, state university, two mega schools, Aliko Dangote School, Legacy Garden, General Hospital and Chest Clinic, Osibanjo Rural Electrification Board and the 10-kilometre Pompomari Bypass.
