Buhari pledges a better Nigeria
President Muhammadu Buhari has said his administration was poised for continued implementation of policies for the betterment of country’s economy.
Receiving the new Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to Nigeria, Mr. Jesper Kamp, at the State House, Abuja, the president said the nation welcomes further strengthening of relations with countries, especially in the areas of agriculture and trade.
Buhari told the Danish envoy that he was pleased that ties between the two nations had remained strong, noting that in the economic sphere, there was more work to do.
He also received letters of credence from the new High Commissioner of Pakistan to Nigeria, Major General Waqar Kingravi (rtd); Senegalese ambassador, Mr. Babacar Ndiaye, and Belarusian envoy, Mr. Vyacheslav Beskosky.
