Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari is currently engaged in a closed-door meeting with four governors from the South-south region of the country.

The governors, all from the opposition People’s Democratic Party, include Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Emmanuel Udom of Akwa Ibom State, Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State and Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State.

The meeting holding inside the president’s office at the State House, Abuja, commenced around 3 pm after Buhari returned from his condolence visit to Kaduna.
