Chairman of Atlas Oranto Petroleum, Arthur Eze, has commended President Muhammadu Buhari on the fight against corruption in the country, saying he deserved a second term in office.

Eze, who is also a philanthropist, gave the commendation while speaking with newsmen in Lokoja, Kogi State, adding that Buhari was on course and needed the support of all and sundry to succeed.

He said that from history, the president had zero tolerance for corruption and was not surprised at the feat recorded so far within the last three years of this administration.

“Anyone who knows President Buhari knows that he is a disciplinarian, allergic to corruption and no president had fought corruption ruthlessly the way Buhari is dealing with it now.

“This stand and disposition has portrayed the image of the country in positive manner and the country is now being respected by the international communities” he said.

Eze said the Buhari government’s recovery of funds was amazing and advised that such recovered moneys should be used for building infrastructure such as roads, health care, power and housing projects for the benefit of Nigerians.

According to him, this country has been dragged backward for so long and it is now the time to make steady progress and development.

He pointed out that although he was not a politician “but he supports good candidates such as Buhari because he is focused and have the interest of the nation at heart”.

Eze enjoined Nigerians to be patience over the security challenges being experienced in some parts of the country, adding that the President had the capacity and willingness to curb it, as he had done to surmount other security problems in the past.

He appealed to the legislature and judiciary to give necessary supports and cooperation to the President to rid the country of corruption for the good of all Nigerians and generation yet unborn.
