The Buhari Media Support Group (BMSG) has commended the leadership, and men of the Nigerian Armed forces for their recent exploits in the North East region of the country, which has given a new lease of life to the people of the region. In a statement by the chairman of the group, Malam Muhammad Labbo in Abuja, the BMSG specifically drew attention of Nigerians to the feat performed by the Army in locating and freeing from Boko Haram territories, a total of 11,595 held hostages against their will by the terrorists.

The above is in addition to the continuous routing of the terrorists in many parts of the region, which has transformed the once invisible Boko Haram into a fleeing band of terrorists with the result that many of the militants have surrendered to the Army. The BMSG notes that this is a new dawn in the area of national security whereby the Nigerian Army frequently updates Nigerians on the developments in the theatre of war. The group urged Nigerians to continue to support the Army in its fight against the terrorists and the change agenda of President Muhammadu Buhari.
