Benue people will triumph in 2019, says Ortom

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has felicitated with the people of the state and other Nigerians on the successful crossover to 2019.

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has felicitated with the people of the state and other Nigerians on the successful crossover to 2019.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Terver Akase, the governor appreciated God for taking Benue through what he described as ‘a turbulent year 2018,’ stating that 2019 is a year of victory for the people of the state.

He urged Benue people to remain faithful and trust in God for guidance and success in the face of challenges.

The governor also implored the people to sustain their support for his administration and security agencies in peace building to guarantee the safety of lives and property.

“2019 is a decisive year for the country as Nigerians prepare to choose their leaders at the polls. We hope that the exercise will be free, fair and credible, and that no form of manipulation of the electoral process will succeed.

He, therefore, wished Benue people a prosperous New Year.
