Bello urges Muslims to dwell on teachings of prophet Muhammadu
A statement by Bello’s Chief Press Secretary, Malam Jibrin Ndace, on Monday in Minna, said the society would be a better place if every Muslim would abide by and act in accordance with the teachings of the prophet.
The statement recalled that the life of prophet Muhammad from birth to death, was a lesson for Muslim faithful to dwell on as panacea for socio-political and economic woes.
It added that prophet Muhammadu in his lifetime preached peace, tolerance, and unity, adding that Muslims must learn from these lessons.
According to the statement, We rejoice with all Muslim Ummah in celebrating the birth of the messenger of Allah through whom the Holy Qur’an was revealed to mankind.
Indeed, the life the prophet lived should always serve as an inspiration to the faithful and his piety, a model for all, it said.
Bello in the statement assured the people that the present economic hardship being experienced in the country, as a result of the recession, would soon be a thing of the past.
It urged Muslims to pray for an improvement in the country’s economy.
The statement added that government at all level would continue to come up with policies and programmes that would bring the country out of its current socio-economic challenges.
